Meet 1 year old Amber,
A girl that means a lot to the rescue...she really has had a rough ride and whoever adopters her will truly be rescuing a dog
This girl has BUCKETS of love, she has an ever so quirky personality that makes everyone giggle and once she settles down will shower you with affection
Amber isn't highly exercise orientated so doesn't require a very high level of it. She is not a big girl (around 10kg)
She requires an adopter who has had a rescue dog before as she can still be easily spooked on a walk and needs that firm reassurance that all is ok. Her ideal owner would be a calm and collected person.
Amber is VERY playful with other dogs, She will have a good mad few minutes of crazy play so a dog that can match that is great. She would be totally fine as the only dog also. If adopters have another dog a professional introduction will be done by the trainer for their piece of mind.
She is fine with dogs on walks, she initially on the very odd occasion got a tad scared if a big bouncy ones ran right up to her face but apart from that she is no bother.
Amber is not currently an off-lead dog in non-enclosed areas due to her skittishness if spooked. She is fine playing with dogs off lead in enclosed spaces. She walks well on a lead in general and is fully crate trained (she takes her self off to the crate for safety if she needs to). She is also potty trained.
Due to her past, she will take a good 48hours to a week to settle into a new home but adopters will be given full guidance by the behaviourist and the rescue (they will also get full support throughout her life).
Amber has there ability to adapt her self to most situations so she can live in most home environments, its the adopters attitude that is the key for this lovely lady, her only issue is she can be insecure and an adopter who can truly understand this will get back the most amazing dog.
Please get in touch if you would like to come and meet this lovely girl, she really does deserve that perfect home.
She will come with lifetime support from the rescue as well as her behaviourist.
