Meet Frank, a 4/5-year-old chap who spent his life chained to a VERY short chain then dumped in the forest (See last photos). We know he was chained to a short chain as he still has the habit of running around in small circles when he is excited to see someone…. a very typical behaviour of a chained dog.
Frank is a 10/10 fantastic chap who is very much deserving of a forever home. He greets his handlers with so many cuddles and kisses every morning. He is a very active boy so needs a home that can offer him lots of adventures. He is a good lead walker. Frank has been in rescue 8 months and has never once shown his teeth or growled at another dog or human….he really has a fantastic nature and is great with all types of dogs. His best buddy at the shelter is Atlas and they like to spend their days playing. He even tries to play with the grumpy dogs in the kennel next door! He just has no boundaries of love.
Frank eats like he has never seen food before and is very impatient when it comes to waiting for treats… and usually will not sit and wait for his handler when it comes to his dinner. He is around 70cm tall without the head and roughly 25kg.
He requires an adopter with the time and patience to settle in and train an ex-street dog and preferably one that has owned a rescue before. Although he has been fantastic with us he may have small hurdles to overcome in a forever home. Frank is in our Romanian shelter and ready to travel direct to a UK forever home.
Please drop us an email if you think you can offer this chap a life outside of kennels
