Meet 6 year old Malamute hunk of love Hunter,
A real big teddy who will make someone a really good dog.
He likes a soft bed indoors and a cuddle as well as sitting at your feet but he does like the freedom of pottering around in the garden, so we would like him to have a nice back garden to call his own.
Hunter is a loyal boy who will give you untold amounts of love. He enjoys his walks and walks well on the lead and doesn’t pull at all. Although he is absolutely fine with dogs that he meets outside on walks he cannot share the home with any male dogs, he likes to be the only male. He could easily live with a nice calm female that he can hang out with but would be equally as happy as the only pooch. He is non destructive and can be left alone with no bother – Hunter doesn’t like being put in a crate (but doesn’t need to be crated anyway).
He isn’t overly vocal unless he ready needs the toilet. We are looking for a large breed experienced adopter ONLY. Hunter doesn’t shed copious amounts like most malamutes, he is pretty low maintenance in that respect but does not like having this rear end brushed. He is good with all children but does not like being grabbed so we will only consider homes with kids that are 10+ and have been around large breeds before. We would like home that has the time to exercise him and generally give him lots of adventures and time. This boy really doesn’t have a bad bone in his body. He is the bestsest boy with so much love and loyalty to give. In the right hands he is going to make someone very very happy. He has been at the rescue over a year now and we are astounded no one has taken him home.
