Fundraising Manager

Flori’s is looking for:

An enthusiastic individual who is passionate about animal rescue. The successful candidate will be working within a small dedicated team of staff and volunteers.

The role will provide an opportunity for you to further develop your existing skills in all aspects of rescue charity fundraising. You will need to be a proactive individual with excellent written/communication skills and proven project management experience.

A demonstrable knowledge of the principals of effective fundraising with evidence of experience in some or all aspects of the fundraising role. A flexible and confident self-starter with a genuine desire to develop within a small, but growing, organisation that plans to expand in the future.

You will be a team player who will work well with our charity team and contribute significantly to growing our income and raising the profile of the charity. An excellent communicator who can liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders, with the ability to positively influence and persuade potential new donors to support your own ideas.

The role will include:

Develop and implement a fit for purpose fundraising strategy, lead and support fundraising activities. Proactively seek out and develop new fundraising opportunities. Increase the number and range of donors and build relationships with major donors and companies.

Ensure major donors and companies are satisfied with their donation scheme and are kept informed on progress and key milestones.

Develop and organise fundraising campaigns and events, whilst being mindful of costs incurred.

Provide accurate monthly reports for Trustees on fundraising progress.

Prepare and deliver presentations to major organisations.
