Susan arrived at our rescue in February in one of the most heartbreaking states we have ever seen. She was paralysed, with bullets lodged in her spine, and carrying health issues that made her case extremely serious.

Susan had already been through so much—yet she still had the strength to survive.

When she first came to us, she was scared, fragile, aggressive and shut off from the world. The journey ahead was uncertain, and we knew her care would be complex, demanding, and costly. But we refused to give up on her.

And slowly, day by day, Susan began to heal.

Today, Susan is a completely different dog. She now allows human touch. She seeks comfort. She trusts. And she even enjoys long country walks—something we never imagined would be possible for a dog with such severe trauma.

Susan has come so far, but she still needs us.

Her bladder remains problematic and must be closely monitored. She requires daily medication and regular scans to prevent complications. These essential treatments are not cheap, but they are the difference between pain and comfort, life and suffering.

Please consider sponsoring Susan.

Your support means more than money. It means freedom from pain. It means stability. It means the chance for Susan to continue her healing journey—without ever being abandoned again.

Susan has already survived the worst. Now she deserves a future filled with love.
