Meet the absolutely stunning black panther, Tarquin.
This kind natured, calm boy was heartbreakingly dumped in a vet’s car park in his carrier. He then spent quite some time at the vets while they searched for a rescue space. Unsurprisingly, this experience left poor Tarquin feeling very shut down when he first arrived with us.
Despite everything he’s been through, Tarquin has never hissed, spat, or shown any aggression towards the people caring for him. He has a truly gentle soul. He quickly made cat friends in our free roam cattery and would really benefit from a home with another feline companion. He doesn’t pester other cats he simply enjoys sitting quietly beside them for comfort and company.
Tarquin is still young (around 2–3 years old), and we believe that as his confidence grows, he will begin to enjoy playing with toys and will show his more playful side.
He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and blood tested, and will soon be ready to find a loving home. We are looking for a calm, quiet environment for him, ideally with no very young children, access to a cat flap, and away from busy main roads.
Tarquin is such a kind and gentle boy, and we truly believe he will flourish in the right home. With a little time and patience to help him settle, he will be a loving, loyal companion. He truly is a little smasher of a cat. He is currently available to meet in Chartham Hatch, Kent.
