**Available to meet in Kent**
Meet the absolutely stunning Tarquin.
He is 2 years old and has a very unusual black smoke coat.
This kind natured, calm boy was heartbreakingly dumped in a vet’s car park in his carrier. After arriving to us in rescue, we soon realised something wasn’t quite right. After running some scans, it was concluded that poor Tarquin had likely been hit by a car, or fallen from a height. With no external injuries it was amazing he survived for so long and so happily. Luckily, Tarquin’s lovely vet, Aiden managed to rearrange all that needed re arranging internally (we will go into more detail upon application) and he made a full and fast recovery. He is now a healthy and happy boy that is ready to find a human to love him.
Despite everything he’s been through, Tarquin has never hissed, spat, or shown any aggression towards the people caring for him. He has a truly gentle soul and is an absolute gentleman. He has quickly made lots of cat friends and generally settled in nicely. He could easily live with other feline companions or be equally fine as the only cat. Tarquin is a pretty laid back Chappy and is happy being left alone whilst someone is at work. He isn’t needy but is affectionate and loving once he knows you.
Tarquin has just begun showing interest in toys and is gradually become more and more interactive with our volunteers. He is in quite a noisy and busy environment and has taken it in his stride but we feel that in a quieter place he will become even more confident.
He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and blood tested. We are looking for a calm, quiet environment for him, ideally with no super young children (although we are sure in the future once he has settled he would be fine with a baby in the home), access to a cat flap, and away from busy main roads.
Tarquin is such a kind and gentle boy, and we believe he will flourish in the right home, the rescue isn’t the easiest environment for them to truly come round. With a little time and patience to help him settle, he will be a loving, loyal companion. He truly is a little smasher of a cat. Tarquin can be a tad shy on meet and greets but once he knows you are safe (or have treats) he soon relaxes in.
Please get in touch if you have a Tarquin shaped hole in your home. He is such a special little boy.
