This beautiful girl came to us from Brighton after suffering severe neglect.
When Winnie arrived, she was weak, frightened, and barely able to stand. Her body had been ignored for so long that even simple movement was painful. But with love, patience, and dedicated care, Flori’s Friends slowly helped her rebuild her strength.
Today, Winnie has been fully rehabilitated into perfect health and mobility—and she is thriving here at the rescue. She has found safety, comfort, and a life free from fear.
But Winnie’s journey isn’t over.
Her bladder is still very difficult to empty, and because of this she requires constant support and supervision. For now, she will remain in sanctuary with us, where she can be looked after properly and safely.
Winnie’s care is ongoing and intensive, including:
