Coming up for adoption

It has been a busy couple of months at the rescue. Not only have we welcomed the ever so handsome Beddlington Terrier Max to the family, but we also welcomed six gorgeous kittens and their mother Gwen.

Max

Max is a wonderful chap, full of beans and raring to find his forever home at the start of July. He is a healthy 8 year old boy and has had multiple previous homes. Max was needing some professional training and guidance on how to be a well-rounded pooch again; how could we say no to that gorgeous face! He is soon to be with our trainer Ronnie in Ramsgate, Kent and will be available to meet.

Gwen and Family

At the start of Spring, we welcomed a pregnant Gwen to the rescue. She was a heavily underweight stray, covered in fleas and anaemic. After lots of TLC and medical care from the team, Gwen was nursed through her pregnancy and was then able to birth a huge litter of six (with a lot of help from our lovely midwives Kylie, Allie and Natalia). The whole family is doing well and growing stronger each day. The kittens will be available for adoption at the start of July (at 8-9 weeks old) in pairs only. Gwen will also be looking for a loving forever home where she can carry on experiencing love and care.

If you wish to offer a home to any of the above animals, please email natalia@florisfriendsrescue.org. If you can’t adopt and would like to help us towards their expensive care, please donate.
