Meet the gorgeous little 3 year old button that is Lucy,
An absolute love bug of a dog that just adores being around people and is always happy to greet everyone she meets. She is a loyal, sweet little girl with so much personality that would bring joy to any home. Sadly little Lucy has been given back to rescue due to her owners ill health, meaning he can no longer give her the proper walks and time she needs. She is of course sad to have lost her dad but we are hoping she won’t be in rescue too long before another family give her a place to call home again.
We are looking for a dog free home for Lucy. Although she is fine with passing dogs on walks and doesn’t pay attention to them and even greets them and plays with some of them but she really does not like dogs coming up in her face and can snap at those, so due to this reason we would not want to risk her being returned by placing her in a home with another dog. She can live with older children no problem and will have a lot of love to give them too. Lucy is not cast tested so homes with cats will not be considered.
This darling girl is house trained, lead trained, can be left alone for a few hours, neutered, vaccinated, chipped etc and is ready to find a family to love her again. we are looking for adopters that can offer her two proper walks a day (not just around the block) and that are not out at work all day either. She is a keen learner and would respond well to further training and in time could most definitely be fine with other dogs getting up in her face. Her previous owner used to taker on camping holidays with him so she is very good in the car and likes to explore. She is also great in public spaces like pubs and cafes and is quite the socialite! She is a small sized dog so wouldn’t take up much room on the sofa!
