Meet 111/12month Mila & Maggie

These two precious girls had a truly heartbreaking start to life. As tiny kittens, they were left to survive outdoors through the bitter winter cold, scared and alone. Eventually they were trapped and brought into rescue, where they received immediately veterinary treatment, were neutered, vaccinated, and cared for. When they first arrived in foster care, both girls shook constantly with fear, silent and shut down, just babies who didn’t yet understand they were safe.

With time, patience, and gentle love, Mila and Maggie have slowly begun to heal. The frightened kittens they once were have blossomed into curious, sweet natured girls who are learning how to trust. They’re still nervous but totally non aggressive. They’ve made enormous progress and are now ready for a home that will continue their journey.

These sisters need the comfort of another animal in the home, whether a cat or a dog, to help guide them and build their confidence. They are fabulous with the current resident dog and other cats and are real asocial butterflies with them. A calm, quiet household is essential for these two, with no young children, as loud noises can still overwhelm them a little. They are now beginning to enjoy human company, gentle play, and moments of affection.

Mila and Maggie are looking for a special human that is patient, kind, and understanding, someone who sees not just who they are now, but who they can become. In the right home, these girls will continue to blossom, rewarding their human with quiet trust and a very special kind of love.

Please get in touch if you can offer these girls the chance they truly deserve. They would be happy with either a catio, cat proofed garden or cat flap access to the great outdoors in a semi rural area.
