Trevor – Kent

Interested in adopting?

Say hello to the total love bug Trevor,

A 6 year old, kind natured little fella who has sadly found himself in rescue through absolutely no fault of his own. His whole world fell apart in a blink of an eye when he came back to us and we felt so very sorry for him. Little Trev arrived with an untreated flea infestation, which sadly could have been solved so quickly with a flea treatment from the vets. This subsequently caused him to lose the fur on his entire back end. We have since flead Trevor and given him the necessary medicated baths and his fur has begun to grow back beautifully and there is nothing left for an adopter to do health wise. Trevor’s blood work is fantastic and he is just about to have a dental so that his teeth are sparkling clean and ready for a new home. Anyone adopting little Trev will be getting a lovely healthy boy.

Trevor is 10/10 with people, you will not find an easier dog to have around your office, take out to meet friends, family etc he is so easy going and just wants a fuss. He really adores trips out and going new places too! He is most happiest when he is by your side, whether that’s snuggled up with you on the sofa, curled up on your bed or following you around the house.

He walks beautifully on the lead and is eager to please. While he is not keen on high energy dogs he will happily pass low energy dogs on walks without a fuss. Trevor doesn’t throw himself at dogs to “react” he will just give a grumble to the high energy dogs that approach him at close proximity (he is not aggressive, he is just little insecure and this could be easily worked on in time). He is a relatively small dog so when he grumbles it is not a disaster and you just keep on walking with no bother. So, given this, we would like Trevor to be the only pet. Trev is also fine to be left on his own at home for a few hours if needed.

Although Trevor is super duper affectionate and loving, he can be a tad insecure with home visitors (non aggressive) and bark when they arrive. This has been solved by popping him behind a stair gate and then letting him out once visitors have settled, and then there are zero issues and he is happy for a love and a fuss and there is no problem.

Trevor is living proof that it is never too late to start again. He just needs a loving human, cosy home and little but more confidence building. For a dog in rescue,he is pretty damn good. In return,  he will love you endlessly.

Could you be Trevor’s final happy ever after? If so please get in touch we would love to hear from you. He is available to meet in Chartham, Kent!
