Meet 2 year old disabled Winnie,
An emergency case that to us from Brighton. Her owner was not looking after her properly and she arrived with MRSA in both her rear legs and what we later found out, her 5th UTI.
It wasn’t looking good for Winnie, the entire team were told to prepare to lose her but after working for months around the clock with her she now has a full bill of health and lives at the rescue as president pooch. She spends her days playing in the sunshine with the other dogs while they wait for homes and enjoying long walks in the woodlands.
Winnie is very difficult to express as her bladder was knocked so badly meaning she is now having to live at the rescue permanently. Â She also has some osteoarthritis in her front legs which means she can get stiff and she requires a monthly injection at the vets.
This girl is a real survivor but sadly, as she is in rescue she adds to our mounting daily costs. By sponsoring Winnie you will ensure she continues to live a fulfilled, loved and happy life with our team. She is the most loyal dog we have ever had and is just so very grateful to be safe.
