Susan and Muffin

Many of you have been following our underdog Susan on social media and have hopefully seen the incredible dog she has become. This sweety was shot and left for dead under a truck. Since arriving into our care this girl has proven herself to be a calm, loving and loyal girl in the right hands. She has now completed her intense rehab and will be going up for adoption in the coming weeks. We really hope someone understanding and patient will come forward to love her for the rest of her life and also help us make space for another deserving dog. If you think you could be a potential home for Susan please email

Update: 1st September

We are so pleased to tell you that our dear Muffin has found herself her forever home. Muffin was nursed back to health and fully rehabilitated and enjoyed her months at the rescue playing with all the big shepherds. She may have been a tiny girl but she had the
biggest personality. Muffin has flown the nest to live in Birmingham with a loving family and their little dog named Lucky, We think she will be absolutely treasured there. It is thanks to your donations that Muffin received her happy ever after.

Muffin with her new family

We would like to introduce everyone to the gorgeous little Muffin who arrived in foster with Natalia and the team on May 31st. She has come from a breeding facility where she was destined to spend her life churning out puppies for sale. Muffin managed to escape from this facility but sadly was subsequently run over, leaving her paralysed and of no use to the owners anymore. This little lady will undergo rehab with the team, undergo surgery, be fitted with a custom-made chair and be trained up to enjoy life to the very maximum. We estimate Muffin’s costs to be around £4000 so any donation towards her care is gratefully welcomed. Hopefully you will all be seeing her adoption advert when she is ready at the end of July! If you think you could be a potential home for Muffin please email
